This property needs maintenance and TLC. I have stayed in cheap hotels before, and to be honest, sometimes the price can be misleading of the quality of the rooms. This is NOT the case for the Knights Inn! I booked this hotel for JMU's parent's weekend. Needless to say I paid a premium - $85 per night and received nowhere near that in quality. One expects better in the USA. This was filthy, smelly, no coffee maker, lights not working, microwave and electrics dodgy to say the least. I've stayed at other budget motels around the same price that were awful. This wasn't too bad. We had been camping in the rain so our only requirements late on a Saturday were cheap and clean. We spent a week at a horse camp near Verona & chose this motel for its inexpensive price. It worked for our purpose because we just needed a place to sleep & shower. It is cheap in every way though. If you stay here stop at the store for air freshener & bug spray . Always keep the curtains closed cause the cleaning personel have a bad habit of walking by and looking in the window multible times with in a short period of time .
