We stayed here one night while passing through on our trip south. The service we received was excellent. The front desk was very friendly, free popcorn in the afternoon. We recently stopped at the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach at Oceanside and 21st. I was absolutley amazed at their location. Our first [& last] time staying at the Holiday Inn, great location to the beach as with all of the hotels, the shops and the mattress was to die for!!! The room should've been cleaned better - some items/appliances looked as though they were not wiped down since forever. Although, if you call to complain management will make it better... more

Rooms were small the pool dirty and small hot tub was not hot and filthy. Had to park a block away, only two elevators making trips very slow. Everything was marvelous about our trip except one little detail....very limited parking...if you are lucky enought to get a parking spot right infront of the hotel ...DO NOT LEAVE and give up your spot..The overflow parking is a 1/2 block from hotel behind the shoppes.
