My family of 6 have stayed at this time share hotel 3 different times because it was free to us as a gift of a time share owner. Location: wonderful. Step right outside and on to the beach Conditions: average to below normal. Not the cleanest. I bring Lysol and spray everything down. No house keeping that I have seen.... More

This is my second trip in a month to this resort. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Place is clean and roomy. Lots of things to do close by and restaurants galore to choose from. Can't go wrong. “great location”

This hotel is well located on the beach, but needs a lot of upgrading to bring it to a 4 star. although some renovations are underway, it was disappointing. Other guests agreed with us. Even a hairdryer was absent.

“Weekend Getaway”

The Ocean Sands Resort, is a great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. My wife and I enjoyed the view from our room in the tower. Watching the sun rise in the morning was amazing. Every staff member was polite, friendly and helpful. I will be back and recommend this Hotel to all I know,

“No gold crown for this one.”

Great location! Noisy inadequate a/c for both rooms. Main unit in bedroom froze you out and noisy little fan to push air into second room did very little. Didn't complain because I new they were all booked up from conversation I heard with another customer. No balcony. Parking was very touchy since they have more floors than parking levels. I... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Ocean Sands Resort in Virginia Beach. The staff at the resort were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. The indoor pool was great and the resort offered many activities. There were also many things to do close by such as the Virginia Zoo, Virginia aquarium, and the lighthouse.
