Stayed from 19-23 August. Apparently the Inn is being torn down, so reservations can't be made past 30 Sept. You could tell that the staff basically didn't care anymore. Checked in a 3:30pm, carried luggage up stairs and settled in. Went and purchased groceries for our 4 day stay, and carried up stairs and put them away. Very relaxing. We stayed at the hotel part. The rooms were nice, had a small kitchenette and a covered balcony. The walk to the beach was a bit long and you can't hear the waves from the hotel. But all in all it was a nice experience and a bit cheaper than staying on the main strip of VA Beach.

We just stayed at cape Henry in the cabins. If you don't mind rustic you'll do ok here. It's not the nicest of places but it will do. The 2 bedroom cabin is cramped to say the least. Made reservation a year in advance for the renewing of marital vows. Website shows beautiful new cottage on oceanfront, not so when we checked in.
