I'll start with a compliment: the fries are hand cut, fresh and as good as my grandmothers (and that's pretty darn good). The fries were literally the only good thing about this place. I got a 1/4 lb burger. The quality of the meat was terrible, gristly and chewy. The tomatoes, pickle and lettuce were fresh but the bun was... More

What a nice, old-fashioned, cozy stay. The room had a kitchette & was very clean & tidy--fresh linens every day, & pleasant surroundings, central to Olympic National Park. The innkeepers are AWESOME!! They told us about "out-of -the-way places to hike around Olympic National Parkk--we saw so much that isn't in the "tourbooks".

This little place was quite a gem. For those traveling from Seattle, it's a perfect location to stop for the day after hitting up Hurricane Ridge and Sul Doc. The room was very quaint with a log-style design and had all the utilities and amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and comfortable beds, TV + satellite,... More

Overpriced doesn't even begin to describe this place. Black and green lumps of mold on the walk and doorstep, dirty sheets with no one in the motel office after 8pm so no one could change them and a pervasive smell of insecticide and mold in the room. Sadly, we were forced to stay here when Sol Duc was unable to... More

We really wanted to eat in a diner like you see in the films during road trip from Portland to Seattle round Olympic NP. Slowed down and drove off from a couple that looked a bit dodge but finally stopped at Hungry Bear and loved it. Service was good, the lady and her son were friendly and I liked the... More

Quoted 55/night .upon arrival at 9pm Fri night was told price is 75night. Even tho I confirmed price ahead of time. Because of this we avoided the grease cafe didn't want to give em another penny. Same as other reviews awkward upon cafe entry everyone turns to stare. Which made arguing for my quoted price uncomfortable. Spider webs everywhere, nothing... More

Was expecting a litle nicer based on website. Paid $85 for one night on July 2 (holiday weekend) with 4 adults. No min stay so that was nice. Log interior walls were dark brown & could use scrubbing. It looked like a snail had crawled on the wall & left behind a slime trail. Lol. Towels were nice & fluffy... More

We made the mistake of eating here on the way to la Push. They should bulldoze this place and start over. It looks as if no upgrades to the resturant have been made since 1985. The restrooms were filthy and our close smelled like old grease for the whole day. All I had was a burger but that was enough... More

Did not stay at this establishment--but at urging of members of my party, we stopped there for lunch on an August Sunday. The dining room was pretty crowded--apparently mostly local folks enjoying a meal out. I assume they were from around there since when we walked in, everyone turned to look at us... Anyhow we ordered and then members of... More

My Mom and I had a mother-daughter weekend for Memorial Day this year. We both enjoy the Twilight Saga series of books, so we decided to head on over to Forks, WA (about a 6+ hour drive from home) and do some Twilight Tours just for the fun of it. We booked last-minute, so had a VERY hard time finding... More
