We stayed here last summer with my in-laws and had the very best experience we've ever had on Orcas Island. The property is tucked away in a gorgeous cove, but is still rather close to Eastsound restaurants and shopping. The rooms have a phenomenal view and very tranquil environment. We were surrounded by tall trees that have bird feeders, so... More

Our stay at Anchorage Inn was restful and cozy, just what we were looking for. Dick, Sandy and Michelle were wonderful hosts. Each morning we woke to an amazing view of the Sound and a basket filled with a delicious breakfast. It was so relaxing to watch the local wildlife stroll through their property. We'd definitely stay here again.

Romance and beauty all in one. Our room, the Eagles Nest had a beautiful view, a lovely deck and a nice comfy bed. Pretty flowers from the garden decorated the room. Breakfast was lovely. It was really fun to open the basket and see what was in store for breakfast. We had quiche and fresh fruit one day and granola,... More

So impressed with this place. Views, charm, comfort. If you are looking for tons of interaction with guests at breakfast or a huge kitchen, this is not your place. If you are looking for a beautiful boutique hotel-like b&b stay with privacy, charm, and relaxation. Boom. Book it.

We found this little gem through TA and were very pleasantly surprised what an ideal spot this turned out to be. The owner picked us up from the airport (park your plane on the ramp at the S/E end. If you park on the grass midfield on the east side, watch out for the rebar tie downs that stick up... More

Wow! I have been meaning to write this review for a year! We stayed at the Anchorage Inn for our 10 year anniversary in June last year. Our stay was amazing! The fact that we were nestled in the trees, with a water view while we would hot tub or just have a glass of wine looking at the sun... More

We discovered Anchorage Inn by accident and since have returned several times. This is a unique setting, surrounded by water views of Eastsound, wooded old growth trees and plenty of wildlife, deer, eagles, birds, rabbits. Sandra, Dick and Michelle are the ultimate host providing any advice about Orcas as needed. The hot tub is ideally located on a point overlooking... More

Great place to go for the views, hot tub, and chance to relax. While this B and B, like many others we've been to, has rooms that are average (why are so many B and Bs so cheaply/oddly decorated?), they are comfortable with wonderful views. The setting is very peaceful and quiet. No TVs but rooms have ipod dock and... More

We just returned from a lovely 2 night stay at the Anchorage Inn. Upon arriving at the property we were immediately greeted by deer crossing the driveway, including the very interesting "mutant" white and brown deer. We were greeted by Michelle when we first arrived and shown around the property and then to our room. We were assigned the "Seascapes"... More

Aaaaahhhh. Had I known what a gem Anchorage Inn is, the entire vacation would have been spent right there. Well designed and contemporary with every creature-comfort that you need is provided, but without its feeling prissy and pretentious--enough kitchen to prepare a meal, already stocked with light snacks, binoculars, music, games, real hardwood floors, comfortable bed/pillows. Add to that--- woodsy... More
