My wife and I booked the hotel thru priceline and got a price about $20 below the advertised rate. Our purpose for the trip was to visit a friend and their new baby, so spending a lot of time at the hotel wasn't a huge priority. It's a very basic hotel, but well maintained, if slightly outdated. But really, no... More

Frequently reported to be the best in Oak Harbor, I've been coming here for five years with satisfactory results. Comfortable beds with clean large rooms. The breakfast that comes free is mediocre, but the staff is friendly and helpful. More

I really liked this place. Everything was great except two things, 1) it was a little difficult getting out of the parking lot and into traffic, and 2) you could tell when housekeeping was doing laundry because the showers hot water would jump to ice cold and then to scolding hot. Don't shower after 9 AM. Besides that it was... More

Immaculate, comfortable and friendly - it doesn't get any better than this! Add to that, reasonable prices, a delicious and generous breakfast and a very comfortable bed. The motel also provides free high speed internet access. The location on Whidbey Island is a very convenient stopover when taking the ferry from Anacortes to the San Juan Islands or to Victoria,... The staff at the Coachman was friendly and helpful, although the front desk seemed minimally staffed and not able to give immediate service to more than one guest. We were given a room upgrade at check-in to a room with a kitchenette. If we were on a longer stay this would have been a signficant plus. The free continental breakfast... More

You could not go wrong with this hotel. The room was immaculate with fluffy, white towels and all other amenities. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet -- important since the hotel was full when we were there. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant; breakfast was more complete than we expected and exceeded the term "continental breakfast."... More

We stayed one night in a king room. The room was nice and clean. A small refrigerator was provided, the TV was an LCD, but the picture quality wasn't very good. I did appreciate the DVD player that was provided. The bed was comfy. We didn't eat the continental breakfast, so I don't have an opinion on it. We had... More

Room was average in amenities, size and furnishings. The bed was not comfortable, it probably needed to be replaced. Everything was clean, neat and quite. Breakfast was better than average. More

We booked a queen room and it was very nice-clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was always very friendly and happy to serve. The only thing I thought was lacking was the free continental breakfast. There was a toaster and breads (english muffins and regular bread) and cold cerial, orange juice, coffee and biscuits with gravy. I wished they... More
