"Not just a room in a house" but your own private luxury railroad car- A Caboose! Gourmet breakfasts elegantly served in our restored private 1937 Zephyr dining car, "The Silver Eagle".
Cool first couple nights stay here. Stayed in a couple different cabooses . Favorite was the oriental express. Pros of this caboose: cool decor Only one other caboose on your side (street is the other side) Cool dvds to watch in bed Interesting food the next morning dropped off Cons: Bed needs replaced. As a couple you will sink to the middle. Bathroom has no fan so place music if you go number 2 on your phone . Bathtub has jets but the water tank for the caboose is so small your bath will be luke warm at best when it’s full. Cool experience but this caboose needs an upgrade! Food wise we went in town for dinner to the salsa bar. Great margs and salsa but entrees gave us food poising .

This place is unbeatable when it comes to uniqueness. For a one or two night stay that you won’t forget, it rates the full 5 stars. The bed was excellent, the accommodation roomy and pleasant, although it seemed a bit “tired” from years of use. Even without a little updating, this is still a very cool place. Love the concept and the execution...and the breakfast was awesome! Thanks for the memories! PS. Charmed by the frogs’ night sounds, as well.

We had an incredible time in the Orient Express caboose! The jetted rub was huge and the entire room was spotlessly cleaned. The owner was kind and very hospitable. We will definitely return again soon!

This was a pleasant stay. Had a few concerns after reading some of the reviews. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival. We were promptly escorted to our caboose and shown around. The caboose was well laid out and clean. perfect for two people. Bed was on the soft side for us and the hot water is just short of filling the jetted tub full. We would definitely stay again. Breakfast here was very good. If you like trains and good food this is a good stop.

We stayed two nights at the RCG and loved every minute of it. The RCG is easy to get to and off the main street. The property is wonderful and well kept. There is a little pond in the middle that just adds more charm to the property. We chose the circus themed caboose and loves the unique quirkiness of the decor. It had all the amenities that we needed: mini fridge, TV, propane fireplace and a huge jacuzzi bathtub. Bed was actually comfortable and the fireplace kept us warm. There was circus decor everywhere...not the creepy circus clown kind, but it had more of a retro feel to it with some added fun like the house of mirrors wall and fun strobe lights. It was definitely different than anywhere I have ever stayed. You do no want to miss the breakfast that is included. It's a four course meal and is served in the dining car. Leif (owner) is a wonderful chef. His food is absolutely amazing and delicious. I was actually quite surprised. Everything was freshly made and served without delay. He makes everything from scratch. I looked forward to the next day to see what was on Chef Leif's menu. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the RCG if you want to experience a unique place to stay. It's charming, whimsical and a stay you'll never forget.…

We stayed in the Grape Escape wine themed caboose. Very tasteful and cozy! After a quiet and restful night we had an amazing four course breakfast in the dining car. Leif is a great host! Hope to be back some day🌸

This was our second time to the Red Caboose and it was just as fun and enjoyable as the first. The accommodations are a total hoot. The cars have been gently restored and each has its own personality. The setting is super quiet. About the only thing you hear at night is the sounds of the crickets in the pond. And the food! Oh, my, the gourmet breakfast is not to be missed. Do yourself a favor next time you're planning to spend time in Sequim. Check out the Red Caboose. You won't be disappointed.

This was one of the best places to stay. The train car was darling, Decorated so cute, the beds are very comfy and it was very quiet. Breakfast in the dining car was worth the whole trip. Amazing food and wonderful service. We would highly recommend this place!

My wife and I have made it a point that when we travel we go out of our way to find the most unique experiences we can find and this was no exception. Leif (Master Chef) and his wife Jamie truly outdid themselves. Each Caboose has it's own unique theme and the theme of ours was Western (Wild West). My only recommendations would be: 1) to include a small note about each Caboose's history 2) to offer magnets with the B&B's name for people who like collecting those sorts of things! Clearly my recommendations have no bearing on the quality of treatment or experience you will have. This place is fantastic and I would most certainly consider staying there again!

The most unique place we have stayed. A retired caboose set on tracks and converted into a B&B. We stayed in the grape escape. Beautifully done and very comfortable. Great nights sleep. The next morning we went to breakfast in the dining car - again set on tracks - and enjoyed a 4 course meal that was out of this world. The meal was served on china and crystal and the whole car was done up to be an authentic feel of a rail dining car. We really enjoyed.
