overpriced room for something very simple that could cost way less elswhere, it was the tower suit. valet was ok at first but very judgemental. safari room restaurant was very very overpriced and did not taste good...tasted like a frozen meal from a box, a $9.00 caesar salad was very small, wet, and soggy. there was no bathtub in the... I've stayed at the Davenport several times over the past few months for business. Before every trip, almost inevitably, my local Spokane peers will ask if I am staying at the Davenport. Clearly, locals take a great deal of pride in their local gem of a hotel, and it's easy to see why. The Davenport is meticulously restored and glamorous.... More

I just came home from a weekend stay at the Davenport Tower in Spokane. I chose the Tower because I was able to get a lower rate at the Tower than the older hotel. Both the Tower and the older hotel are across the street from the self-parking lot, so parking is not an issue ($20 per day may seem... More

I've stayed at a few Ritz's. The one thing you will always remember is that they will say "it's my pleasure" when you say thank you. They don't say that at the Davenport but otherwise, I can say that this is a very top notch hotel. Everything from the arrival to the departure was met with attentive staff, great surroundings... I recently stayed three nights for work at this hotel, in the tower rooms. This place really is first class all the way. Decor in the tower rooms is safari-themed, a little funky, a tad modern, but very nice. Bathroom: Although there is no bath tub in the room, the shower was large and cozy. It had great water pressure... More

This hotel is such a great value! The experience is big city 4 star hotel, but because it's in a smaller town, it's so affordable! I stayed here a few days this month and was so impressed. Drivers shuttle you around town for free, the hotels are beautiful, the bars are great, the service is amazing, location is ideal, I... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Davenport Tower when attending a wedding in the historic hotel. Our room was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable and the shower roomy. The staff was very responsive to requests for additional towels and replacing the hair dryer which did not work. I did miss having a coffee pot in the room... More

We have stayed here a few times (both in the historic side and the towers) when in Spokane, most recently over New Years. The service is wonderful, the rooms are clean, spacious and beautiful. Love the huge showers, peanut brittle on the bed. It is all so fabulous. Lots of history here and you can just feel it when you... More
