I was shocked at how different the French Country Inn was in reality as opposed to their website which made it out to be a luxurious country inn. Don't waste your time or your money at this inn. more

Nice hotel, quaint and calm. Beautiful setting on Lake Como. On the downside : fridge was dirty, chipped paint on the balconies, bad smell in the bathroom, toilet didn't work properly, breakfast average. I would happily pay $150 for this, but not the almost $300 I was charged. more

We stayed in the lower level of the cottage bldg. This place for the money needs some updating. The bed linens are not luxurious and the bathroom shower floor was dirty. Carpet is somewhat dirty. We selected this bed and breakfast based on the website for an overnight getaway. The location is great. Our room - and I think all the rooms - have a beautiful view of Lake Como.
