“Horrible Place, Horrible People”

Mosquito infested, the lake is rarely up to swimming quality and the forest rangers seem to overuse their authority to be nothing short of harassing. It's camping, not prison. We have been camping here for many years, and it has gotten progressively less fun. The added drive to Governor's Dodge was WELL worth it.

“One of the nicest State Park Campgrounds we have stayed in.”

We stayed in this campground for a couple of days on our way west. Our campsite was very large and the restrooms clean. The one downside was that they only provide electric, no water and sewer hook ups. The other neat thing about this location is that they have a specific beach for dogs.
