If you like quaint and great owners, this is the place. Perfect for ATV or exploring. This is the best most interesting highway motel I've ever been to. Bob and Carol are a hoot. I'll be back. Please don't fill up, leave room for me!

Stayed at motel for two nights attending a family reunion. Booked Approximately 5 or 6 months before the reunion as lodging is sparse in that area and we wanted to make sure we had a room. They don’t send a confirmation so wondered if we would actually have a room when we arrived. Well the night before we were to leave for the reunion we received a phone call from the motel asking if we still planned on coming. They explained that they had an F1 tornado and if we were planning on using the ATV trails they were all closed because of the damage and they would allow us to cancel. I thought that was pretty nice of them to follow up with their bookings. The room was very clean, nothing fancy but very comfortable and adequate for us. We stayed in the Packer room and I do mean Packer room, everything in the room Packers. Was a little worried when I saw the hallway lined on both sides with antiques but my nephew told us the owner collected antiques and ran out of room in her house. It’s an experience if you’re use to the high end chain motels, but would stay again.…

This was my first time staying at Mountain Springs and it definitely won't be the last. The owners are beyond friendly! When we checked in, Carol asked if it was our first time staying there and when we said yes, she walked us through the hotel showing us the ice machine, pizza oven, microwave and walked us into our room. The beds were queen size and comfortable. Property is right on the trail with a gas station a couple hundred yards away. Plenty of space to park your trailer and a campground if you have a camper.

I've been staying at this beautiful motel for over 10 years now,and you can't find better owners then Bob and Carol...They will literally bend over backwards to accommodate you. Every morning Carol puts out an awesome continental breakfast of homemade sweet rolls,Danish, fresh fruit you name it she has it...Rooms are spotless and the location is fantastic.Great restaurants are near by...So if you plan on visiting Mountain or any other town in the vicinity,Mountain Springs Motel and Campground is the place for you...

We usually go up to Mountain for a day trip, but this time we decided to spend the night. We booked a room at Mountain Springs Motel. This is a charming hotel right off of Hwy 64 and 32. It is owned by a sweet couple, Carol and Bob. Carol greeted us when we came in and remembered we were up visiting our children who were at camp. She checked us in and escorted us to our room. She explained they only have a couple of TV channels, but the motel has 100's of DVD's and VHS you can use. Our room had a small fridge and a coffee maker. In the hallway there are microwaves and a pizza oven that guest can use. This was the friendliest motel I have ever stayed at. Instead of being a sterile, generic motel, it was charming and home like. The rooms decorated, like a home, with quilts hanging on the walls. The bathroom had a lovely shower curtain-black and gray striped and matching towels. The towels were black and gray, large and thick. They even have special towels just for drying your hair. The hallway is lined with antiques and collections. If you ride an ATV, this motel is ATV friendly and is near an ATV trail. The motel is very quiet and we never heard any of our neighbors. The only complaint we have is the mattress was too firm for us.…

Room Tip:We had an even number room, so it face the parking lot, odd numbered rooms face a wooded area.

Clean and eclectic styles of homey decor. Very accommodating owners. Would definitely stay there again. Reasonably priced. Had a nice campfire and a little rain but there were big umbrellas to use. Great place!!

The motel is beautiful and amenities are indescribable. Rooms are spacious and feel like home. Campsites have everything you want. Playground was safe fun for our kids aged four to nine. We stayed for six days and didn't want to leave. Management was more like family.

Immediately welcomed by owner upon arrival. Check in efficient. Shown to our room and inside the room. Told of all amenities avail. Our room contained a fridge. Microwave avail. in hallway. Homemade breakfast items as well as wrapped items - danish, etc. Few TV channels - so many videos available for viewing. Next door to gas station and ice cream shop.

My wife and I needed a room for the night, and we chose here because it was close to where we were to meet a surveyor and land. I had been here for deer hunting, and always happy with our stay. The people(Bob&Carol) are great hosts. They even mailed me a bandana I had left behind. Really more than I ever expected. That is the "mom & pop) kind of service that sets them apart. Now....... If there was a really nice restaurant next door......

Very clean and quiet motel. The rooms a very spacious and decorated with a country flair. The owners are very nice people and very accommodating - if you need something all you need is to ask and they will deliver if possible. Excellent value for the price. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is the mattress on the bed. Extremely hard with no give and we didn't sleep all that well. If those were replaced I would give it a 5 star rating for sure!
