I stayed in the two bedroom cottage, "Hale Manu" for a week in February. The cottage was so much more than I expected. It was fully equipped with everything I could imagine needing. The kitchen was stocked with all of the essentials, and more. I stayed in the front bedroom. What a great view! The bed was extremely comfortable and... More

What's not to love about an ocean view, flowers, beautiful birds, waterfalls and mountains. The guest house was as others have written, comfortable, clean and stocked with necessities. I didn't realize until I read the "chiot" review why I was so hot on a cool night with windows open. Must have been those mattress covers. There's lots of room. Not... More

We stayed at the smaller cottage for two nights in November and really enjoyed our time in Hana. The cottage is really comfortable, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, it is also stocked with every possible necessity (books, games, maps, beach bags, snorkels, etc., etc). Our charming hosts were incredibly helpful with tips about local attractions and went out of their... More

As mentioned by others, the cottage is delightful; fully equipped with everything one could want. Walk in to a cool cross-breeze, fresh flowers, and Hawaiian music playing. We made use of the BBQ at the back. Make sure to walk over to the Venus pool at sunrise for an amazing experience. We love the unique beaches, Pipiwai trail hike and... More

I stayed here one night with a friend who was visiting Maui for the first time. The house is nicely equipped and furnished and very clean. It is also quiet and there are no roosters! Wild chickens can be a factor in rural Maui areas. A few things made our stay a bit uncomfortable, but depending upon your own preferences,... More

We are happy this guest found our Hale Manu house nicely furnished, quiet and clean and always appreciate being acknowledged for our hard work. We take a lot of care with our bedding and we have worked to find something that would protect the beds, keep them sanitary and still be comfortable. There is a felt lined protector under an... More

This house was even nicer than the pictures appear. It was so clean and comfortable, and had everything you could think of, from beach chairs and umbrellas, from coolers to card games, CDs, books and movies, to a kitchen equipped for all kinds of cooking and baking. Our purpose in renting was to spend more time in the Hana area... More

We stayed in the one-bedroom cottage at the front of the property. Despite their being 3 cottages on the property, the lush vegetation gave it a very private feel. As others mention, the house was spotless and the kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals-nothing was second-rate. This home is comfortable, very well-kept and peaceful. It offers everything you... More

The house was immaculate when we arrived, and Hawaiian music was playing and fresh flowers in every room. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of, which is great because when you stay in Hana (a fact we learned on our first trip there a few years ago), you are probably going to be cooking all of your... Hale Manu was immaculately clean, furnished with lovely Hawaiiana, surrounded with flowers, birdsong, and a stunning view of the ocean and sunrise. It is situated a couple of miles past town, making it quiet and private, but still very convenient. There is a path to beaches, or a short drive to all that the Hana area has to offer. We... More

This was our first trip to Hana and it was perfect. Leokane and Chris have created a slice of heaven. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage and awoke to the sunrise . The cottage was immaculate and everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable was provided from wifi to beach chairs. You can start and end... More
