What a different yet charming experience I had on my recent trip to Maui more specially at Melinda's place in Lahaina. I had a very pleasant time there, almost two weeks, very well located and very well accommodated. Melinda will offer just about anything you need and she has a great knowledge of the Island and especially all of the... More

On a positive note: the bedroom and bathroom were clean and shampoo, towels, and soap were provided. The AC in the bedroom functioned quietly. Upon our obvious initial disappointment, the housesitter talked to Melinda (in the mainland) and offered to find us another place with a full refund. Ater some difficulty finding suitable lodging, we decided to stay at Aloha... More

We loved our stay at Melinda's, she is a wonderful host. We planned our stay such that we stayed at the B&B for the 3 days we wanted to do Hana trip, trekking around the volcano and exploring Lahaina. We stayed for 3 days at Hyatt and these were our beach days so we took complete advantage of the resort... More

Well located for anyone with a car as it is two blocks from the beach and three blocks from the Banyan Tree Square and has its own parking in a town where parking is difficult near the centre. Melinda has just the one room for rental in a suburban house. It is a small crowded room for two people but... More

Melinda is a very friendly, helpful host...and her 3 cats are great! You can easily walk to the beach or into town from her home. Melinda made excellent suggestions for places to eat and a fantastic beach (airport beach) for snorkeling (with bathrooms and easy parking). The road noise can be loud at night, but all you have to do... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my 7-night stay at Aloha Lani Inn. Melinda was a superb hostess, I felt like part of the family as soon as I arrived. She was always available if I had any questions or needed help, and offered a lot of tips on places to go, good eating spots and where to find Lahaina's best Mai Tai... More

We think we made a good choice by staying here on our recent trip to Maui. We would recommend this cozy guest room and house to anyone wanting a good value for their money. We had a clean bedroom with our own bathroom, and use of the kitchen area and living room area with satellite television. We could sit outside... More

This is a guestroom in a family house, so you don't feel like in a hotel, but in a friend's home. The owner is friendly with great personality, and your schedule or other needs can be flexible, because you could talk to her. The house is at a great location, blocks away from Lahaina Downtown, where all the West Maui... More

If you want to feel like you are part of Lahina, this place is for you. A nice neighborhood house where the birds flock to the breakfast garden and Melinda, the owner, opens up her home and heart to you. It is only two blocks from the beach and within a short walk to Lahina's famous banyan tree and harbor.... More
