Searched online for a place to stay in Bar Harbor during the last week of October. All the places I have stayed in the past were closed for the season. Turned out to be a lucky thing for me or I never would have found this wonderful treasure intown. The Aurora Inn caught my eye on the internet and I... More

Old style place but comfortable and clean. Near downtown so you can walk about. The manager was very nice and helpful in answering your questions. Old style but very nice. Good place to visit for a few days. More

This is my third time back to the Aurora Inn and this was my longest stay there yet. The location can't be beat, walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor and a short drive to Acadia National Park (near Cadillac Mtn Entrance). Its cozy, very comfortable and clean. The staff are very nice. They have comfortable seating on the porch... More

This was our first trip to Maine and Aurora Inn was randomly chosen after deciding we wanted to escape the July Georgia heat for Fourth of July. Great location, clean, comfortable room and wonderful coffee every morning! Delightful front porch chairs on ground level just steps from car and nicely landscaped - breathtaking flowers up and down the entire street!... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and got the package with the boat trip, the dinner and the 2 breakfasts. It was money well spent. The Margaret Todd Boat was awesome. We went on the sunset cruise. The dinner was very fancy and romantic at the Reading room. One of the best dinners i have ever had.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aurora Inn. We had a king room which was large, clean, and had an extremely comfortable bed. It was well within walking distance of all that the town of Bar Harbor has to offer, and very convenient to Acadia National Park. We will definately be staying there again. More

We blindly chose the Aurora Inn for our first visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP and we really were not disappointed. The location was perfect for us and we appreciated the ease of parking and walking distance to everything that we wanted to do and see within Bar Harbor. We did no driving until we were ready to see... More

Our stay at the Aurora Inn was great and we would return. From our first phone conversation to check out, we were met with helpfulness and genuine friendliness. The location of the inn allowed us to park the car and walk the town. The entrance to Acadia is just minutes away which afforded us the opportunity to go daily. Information... More

There seem to be many many and many hotels/ b and b's in Bar Harbor near the Aurora but they do not advertise like this motel does. For the price we were expecting soemthing a little more. It is very overpriced for what it is. More

We stayed 3 nights here and it's a perfectly located, quiet motel. While it's very basic (think typical motel), it's also clean and has free wifi that's really zippy and accessible from your room. We also had a fridge (perfect for keeping bottles of water cold), coffee maker, and a microwave. The bathroom was new and updated, the rest of... More
