We have stayed here for several reasons: they allow dogs, the grounds are spacious and attractive, the rates are very fair ; especially before July, it is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there was room for my boat. It is a relatively short distance to Bar Harbor. There is a motel or several quaint cabins with fireplaces.... More

“Our Saving Grace”

We were camping in the rain for 3 days and finally decided we needed a warm room and a shower. We walked in a they had an adorable little cabin available for our stay. “Great place to stay for people and dogs”

We stayed there for 4 days and loved it. The cabin was spotless and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Excellent place to stay with dogs. Lots of area to run and play! Good value and a good location for Acadia. Perfect spot would definitely stay there again.

“Lovely setting, near to many interesting places.”

We stayed two nights because it was very good. Although it is on the main Highway it is set back In it's own 10 acres. Very quiet and the owners were very helpful. Situated near Bar Harbor, a definite must visit! Visiting Acadia National Park was a delight .

“Nice and quiet”

We enjoyed the motel. Very quiet, away from the tourists in Bar Harbour, beautiful grounds. You can enjoy sitting outside either in the front or the back of the room. Nice to have the sun for a coffee in a cool september morning. Very neat inside and outside.

It was reasonably priced and comfortable. The service was good and the grounds were OK. We could not get one of the cottages, so ended up in 2 of the rooms for 4 nights.
