We stayed just a week ago for two days in room 314. The room had an older TV that still worked and had Direct Tv, the bed was well made and clean as was the rest of the room. We stayed at the Sea Breeze with friends in September (last fall). The view is amazing. We had an ocean view room but our friends were in the back in a cheaper room..we all hung out on our porch and it was fun to watch the sunrise over the water. We liked having coffee on the porch.

We went to Acadia for the fall colors last Oct. and stayed at the Sea Breeze. The place has a beautiful view. It is an older motel but the rooms are very clean. The owner happened to be at the front desk when we checked in and she gave us great sightseeing info.... we enjoyed our stay.

The view was nice, but nothing else about this place was. It WAS the Bates Motel! For $199/night over Labor Day, we almost left, it was that bad. We had an excellent unobstructed view of the bay. Be sure to ask for that side of the motel. After driving around the town, I am not sure there is another affordable place with such a view. We found the room clean and comfortable and spacious enough for three, though not fancy.

Rooms aren't large or modern, but clean and comfortable. Service was excellent though it was the very end of the season. Small, but friendly staff.
