We stayed her in August 2011 (trip advisor wouldn't let me select Aug 2011) and really liked the place. It was a new thing sharing a house and having the full run of the kitchen and everything in it - including alcohol! The room we stayed in was very, very nicely decorted, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom... More

Nice comfortable place. Visited during christmas and new years 2012-2013. Jimmy and the staff made it feel like home. The christmas decorations were awesome. Kitchen fully stock and the food was excellent. Goodies hiding everywhere. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who is visting San Francisco. Dave and Andrea

A place full of character with stunning views down to golden gate bridge in a lovely part of town near to UCSF. Very comfortable room but extremely tiny bathroom for the price. The help yourself breakfast is an interesting concept and I couldn't find the coffee!

My wife and I stayed at the Belvedere House B & B for the weekend for my son's wedding in San Francisco. Our reservations were handled via email with ease and promptly. We were greeted at the door by the most welcoming man managing the house - James! He made us feel at home immediately. The Belvedere is a beautiful... More

This lovely B&B is in Haight Asbury in a very upscale and quiet neighborhood. The house is full of fascinating memorabilia and books everywhere you look. The rooms are very comfortable with lots of little thoughtful amenities. The dining room has a magnificent view overlooking most of San Francisco and the Golden Gate bridge. The first room we stayed in... More

Belvedere House turned out to be more than an outstanding San Francisco B&B during our three-night stay. Before we had stepped through its door for the first time, we had no idea of the extent to which this gracious establishment had adorned its interior with collected books, art work, antique furnishings, artisan essentials and tasteful decor. In addition, an added... More

We spent two nights at Belvedere House to end our 1 week San Fransisco and Yosemite NP vacation. We felt very much at home at the Belvedere House. James, the owner, makes every effort to help you and make you feel comfortable. The living room is very nice with a great view on the top of the Golden Gate Bridge.... More

We stayed in the Belvedere Room for 2 nights. The Hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room is at the top of stairs in the quietest part of the home. There is a mini fridge stocked with pops. A queen bed, night stand, armoire with small lock box inside (not big enough for a laptop, more... More
