The bad: the noise coming from Market St., like the historic cars, and the occasional fights/rough play/loud conversations from the people hanging out in the area (not necessarily homeless). Although, there is a high concentration of homeless people around the hotel. If you can sleep through anything and gritty areas don't easily frighten you, then you'll be fine.

Our room was dirty, and there was a lot of noise from the street, so we didn't get any sleep. There were hookers, drug dealers and homeless people near the hotel, and it just wasn't a safe place to be, so we left the next morning and found another hotel!
