The only favorable comment about this hotel is its location. it is ideal as it is downtown. The hotel looks tired. It requires some uplifting renovation. The breakfast was bad. No bread toasting facility. But the worst experience we had with this place was the poor attitude of its front desk staff. More

The Hotel Besford is a great low budget hotel in San Francisco located centrally only two blocks away from Union Square. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable although not excessively large, buffet breakfast is very good. More

Small hotel but very well located 2-3 blocks from Union Sq. It is good for going with the family, friends as well as for a bussines trip. Do not forget to enjoy the beer and hot dogs you can have in the evening at "white horse" the pub next to the hotel where the continental breakfast is served. More
