This hotel can be easily confused with the similar- sounding Best Western just down the street. (It is a former Comfort Inn.) Although somewhat shopworn, the rooms and the hotel are very clean, and the rates are very competitive. The owner's staff are friendly and attentive. Our request for extra pillows was immediately attended to. The continental breakfast was mediocre.

In a word BAD. This place needs a lot of work, none of the snack machines work, coke machine broke, ice machine on second floor broke, smoke alarm in our room no battery in it. A/c very loud, bed made back hurt, pillows very bad. Swimming pool GREEN, grass needs cut,lights out everywhere, the breakfast was a joke, your choice... More

This is an older motel but the room we had was quiet and clean-the bed was really comfortable! It's hot enough in Del Rio, but when you get into your room, the air conditioners are OFF so it takes a couple of hours to cool your room. To top it off, after they clean your room, they turn them off again so when you return to your room in the evening, it's uncomfortable hot and stuffy. I'm sure... More

We stayed here for one night in summer 2009 on our way crossing the US. We looked around first and compared other Motels about prices and look. This one offered the best value. This hotel is more like a Motel 6, except at a much higher dollar rate and without the hookers. I paid $65 a night. The bathroom is JOKE - very, very small. The carpets are in need of a good cleaning. I hated to take off my shoes. The towels were very worn and stinky. The floors in my room... More
