Christian and Claudia run a great place, everything was clean, on time and the breakfasts were very well thought out. They even made us special no-meat and low-cholesterol meals as requested. The stay was comfortable, and non obtrusive, which is especially appreciated when you want input from your hosts but not a great deal of interaction and you want to... More

Dear JudithSolDyess, Thank you for your wonderful review! It means a lot to us to learn that we were able to find the right mode of interaction with you. With wonderful guests like you it was an easy task and came naturally. None of the extras you mentioned were a burden to us. We are thrilled to learn that there... More

Found the hosts most helpful and friendly. Breakfast is excellent. Bed very comfortable. Room sparsely furnished and shower small. Train tracts are about a mile away and train whistles and distant train noises can be head all the time which makes sleeping hard.

Dear DCtraveller41, Thank you for taking the time for this review! We appreciate your scarce compliments. We truly regret that the occasional train whistles—obviously beyond our control—were able to deteriorate your overall experience to an extent that you chose to give us just a mediocre rating. We were hoping that the special veteran discount and the many extra services you... More

Christian and Claudia were fantastic hosts. The location was wonderful, close to everything and far enough that you had some peace and quiet. This was me and my wife's first time staying in a bed and breakfast and we were not disappointed. My wife and I were celebrating our first anniversary here. That day, both Christian and Claudia congratulated us.... More

We recently stayed at this B & B and and thought it was wonderful!! We were in town for a family Bar Mitzvah and the location was great - just minutes from the center of town. The host/hostess, Christian and Claudia, could not have been more accommodating. When we arrived, I noticed that the 6 large windows in our room... More

We had a nice weekend getaway at the Sweet Biscuit Inn. Great place to stay and food was AWESOME. We stayed in room #6. Very spacious and had a great view. Besides the food our favorite amenity was sitting on the large front porch. Very relaxing after a long day touring Asheville. We will be back.

PROS: Gracious hosts, clean bed and bath, tasty 3 course breakfast, choc chip cookies, kid friendly CONS: Room AC sucks (if you like it around 70F, you'll have to put a fan in the window around 10:30pm). Wouldn't be good in the middle of summer. Looked like the blinds in our room had never been cleaned.

Asheville was very enjoyable and we had a good first experience. We hope to return in the future. We definitely recommend a Gray Line Trolley tour to get an overview of the area. we saved a lot of time in learning about the Asheville community.

Everything about the Sweet Biscuit Inn was charming, friendly and designed to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. After travelling north for two weeks, Sweet Biscuit provided a place to rest and recharge, from afternoon drinks on the porch to a fantastic breakfast that beats some restaurants we have tried. Thank you Claudia and Christian, you are highly recommended.

An amazing B&B and a great find. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood accessible (including walking) to many activities in Asheville. Beautiful older home that is clean and well maintained. The hosts were gracious and served amazing breakfasts! Will stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Extremely friendly hosts, great breakfast and compatible fellow guests. The old house and surrounding neighborhood are charming -- perfect for morning or evening walks. And the location is very convenient to downtown Asheville, but not on a busy street.
