This is the best Bed and Breakfast Inn in Asheville, NC. The owners Peter and Lori White are hands on in every aspect. The staff is very accommodating. The views of the property both inside and outside is lovely. The furnishings are beautiful antiques, lush beddings. The food is exceptional. I would highly recommend it to a traveler who would... My daugher, her dog and I stayed in the Magnolia room. It was perfect for us. The room was large, beautifully decorated, and extremely well appointed. It was so convenient for traveling with the dog -- we could step out the door and be in a grassy area for his comfort:). Very convenient first thing in the morning -- just... More

The first two times my wife and I stayed there we had a wonderful time. Fantastic decor, food and hospitality. The third time was a last minute get away to Asheville. Set up a reservation with Lori, who was very accommodating and did not ask for a deposit. Unfortunately, the day of or travels we had an unexpected life threatening... More

I am unable to find any record of this guests stay for this time frame. All reservations are recorded in our system,so I am at a loss to explain . I would like to say however, that I am not in the habit of being rude to our guests or potential guests, and do not make a habit of hanging up... More

My husband and I left this morning following an amazing weekend at the Black Walnut. This was my husband's first B&B experience, and he loved it. We were greeted by Beth upon our arrival, and she was so helpful and knowledgable with dining options in the area. She helped us make reservations at a wonderful restaurant, Cucina24. Our room, the... More

The owners of this marvelous inn located in an historic section of Asheville made sure that our first trip wouldn't be our last. We started each morning with a sumptuous breakfast which provided plenty of fuel for the activities ahead, and our innkeepers were full of great recommendations to fill each day with fun festivities. Late afternoons provided an opportunity... More

Pretty place - very stylish. Fancy, different hors d'ouevres each afternoon, with sumptuous, creative breakfasts each morning. Extra servings of whatever, as well as wines, were available after hours in the community fridge in the parlor area. Located in a wonderful neighborhood with a great Bohemian restaurant nearby. We were in the sunshine room, and it was very nice. Watch... More

My husband and I fell in love with this B&B from the moment we entered. We were greeted by kind staff and our room was clean and charming. We arrived during happy hour and were wowed by the selection of homemade goodies - I especially loved the chocolate flourless torte! We enjoyed chatting with the other patrons as well as... More

From the time we pulled into the parking lot until we left early early Monday morning, we were treated like royalty. The room was heavenly and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Lori and Peter went so far beyond it was just the best birthday get away ever! It was like old "home week" when we met Peter... More

Just completed a fantastic 2 night stay in the Camellia room of the Black Walnut with our miniature schnauzer, Katie. The room was gorgeous. Two beautiful crystal chandeliers on a dimmer switch provided delightful mood lighting. We especially enjoyed the king bed, kitchenette, and gas fireplace. The claw footed tub could be fully enclosed by curtains and we appreciated the... More

We were greeted by Rachel who was very kind and gave us a little tour of the Inn, and our room was extremely clean and well kept.
