The Renaissance has been updated inside and has well apportioned sizable rooms. I was surprised to find turndown service when I came back to my room and had a great steak at the restaurant. I would definitely come back.

Every time we have business in Asheville we stay here!! The people that left bad reviews must have been intoxicated?? I am a platitium member with Marriott and Diamond with Hilton. So to say the least if you walk to the eateries down the street or stay here and enjoy this place is nice!!

Last month I stayed at the Reaissance and expected a better product. The front desk staff was excellent, the hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. Returned to the Renaissance and had a very pleasurable experience. Lobby is updated (a little fru-fru for my taste, but still very nice. The service is excellent. I have stayed for business several times here. Perfect location for walking to dinner. Staff is very accommodating and friendly and the hotel and restaurant are newly renovated. Parking is right on site and free-no hassle with garages. Great find!

We stayed here while visiting in Asheville. It was a perfectly fine hotel, but the front desk staff and those in the restaurant were particularly friendly and helpful. Just some little things that make being in a hotel better. Room was fine, everything worked fine, but the staff made this better than expected.
