“Surprisingly unimpressive”

A very basic older hotel. You see the age on the building in the small things like... poor quality bathroom repairs, worn carpet, draps past their prime, hard to open windows, etc. Asheville, in general, is a somewhat expensive town and the Crowne is no exception.

“Not the best location and not very soundproof..”

“Great Choice for a Four Day Visit to Asheville”

I was a little put off by a few of the reviews regarding the Crowne Plaza. I'm very glad that I decided to ignore them. The staff couldn't have been kinder and more attentive; the grounds are lovely; the location is perfect; and being dog-friendly was just an added benefit. Overall, a very good experience.

“Wedding planners, be careful booking block”

“Pleasant stay close to the downtown area”

I was in Asheville for a business meeting at the Renaissance downtown. Fortunately I had a car although the Crowne Plaza was only a five-ten minute drive. The accommodations were adequate, not quite as luxurious as some of the other locations in town.
