If you like well kept, older buildings with loads of history, you'll love this hotel. The entire time I could imagine white-gloved ladies sipping tea in the front room. The place is very charming and clean. The staff quiet, helpful, and available. Everyone made sure I was comfortable. The breakfast and coffee each morning was delicious and the dining room... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in a deluxe room at the Princess Anne and loved our experience there. The Princess Anne retains the best aspects of a B&B without the downsides: the staff were friendly and suggested fun hikes for us, the breakfast was delicious and made to order and served in a beautiful dining room, and there was a... We spent one night at the Princess Anne Hotel this past weekend and were very impressed. Our two-room suite (#303) featured a bedroom and separate sitting area and kitchenette. The suite was well decorated and very clean and comfortable. All in all, it was about the size of two regular hotel rooms with a bathroom in between. The kitchenette included... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Princess Anne on multiple occasions and it is our favorite place to stay when we visit Asheville. It is conveniently located near downtown and you can easily get there within ~5 minutes. Every afternoon, they have a wine and appetizer selection/ social hour provided to guests, which we enjoyed thoroughly. The size... More

I usually do not care for bed and breakfast hotels but Princess Anne is exceptional. The rooms are large and comfortable. The dining room is elegant with breakfast choices that would please any palate. The warm ambiance of the hotel lends itself to friendly conversation with travellers we met from Canada and England. The hotel is located in walking distance... More

This is our second year in a row at the Princess Anne. We loved it so much last year that we came back this year. Once again, we were not disappointed. Breakfast is phenomenal, rooms are big, clean, cosy, and well furnished. We really appreciated being able to walk downtown, also. Great location. The staff are so personable. They are... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend December 15-17 after spending some much needed time in the mountains in the days previous. It was nice to return to civilization and especially nice to stay somewhere with such welcoming accommodations and relatively easy access to downtown! Once we checked in, we didn't drive our car once. That being said: we really like... More

I must say I love older hotels and understand that they have their quirks so I can look past many issues. Overall I liked The Inn. Like many others have stated the staff and food were excellent not to mention we recieved champagne in our room for NYE. The probelms that I had were that the walls were marked by... More

Charming hotel, nice location. The afternoon wine and cheese was wonderful, and the complimentary bedside chocolate truffles delicious. Breakfast was also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The old building is charming--just be ready for radiator heat and lack of soundproofing. We had a one-bedroom plus sitting room, which was spacious with a complete kitchen; it was a... More

We stayed at this beautiful 16 room bed and breakfast for just one night but I wish it could have been more. Very convenient to downtown, Biltmore and Grove Park Inn. We stayed in one of the smaller type rooms but it was very nice and comfortable. The complmentary breakfast that is a sit down breakfast was wonderful! Very charming... More
