This was my third time to stay here in as many years. I find the rooms pleasingly eclectic, the comforters on the beds cozy, and the breakfasts delicious and filling (okay, I'm a big fan of Daryl's homemade granola, and dream of going back just to eat more). Very convenient to some delightful restaurants, and located on a quiet street. more

The Taylor House is a graceful mansion in Boston's most interesting neighborhood, Jamaica Plain. We have stayed at Taylor House for years - almost every time we visit family in Jamaica Plain. It is great - warm, welcoming owners and dogs and a beautiful space. Lovely older home in a good location next to Jamaica Pond--a refreshing 1.5 mile hike around. Hospitable hosts. A nifty room with fireplace, good bed and reasonable price, plenty of parking. A different menu each morning for breakfast--especially the egg casserole---accompanied by, if you wish, two very friendly Golden Retrievers. We certainly plan to return. more

Highest recommendation, spacious, beautifully decorated rooms with privacy, amazing breakfasts, ( one of owners is a chef), great hosts with attention to all details.
