I was checking for reasonable accommodations while in Boston for a few days and fell in love with the gorgeous rooms pictured on the The College Club of Boston's website, and decided to go with them based on the photos alone. Luckily, there was no false advertising involved! Upon checking in, I was delighted to see the room which was... More

I was looking for a place to stay in the back bay while visiting a client. I arrived late and had already received a call from the manager letting me know the combination to the front door and that my room key would be in the front hall. The room was cozy and the bath very nice. Complimentary breakfast was... More

Went for an overnight to Boston with our nephew to visit graduate schools. The College Club was recommended to us and despite have difficulty making a reservation over the phone (the person was very short and curt with us) we were greeted warmly upon arrival. My wife and I stayed here for two night in June 2012, having learned of this from a guidebook. While a private club, the general public is welcome to stay here. It is in a very nice area within walking distace of the Boston Commons. Very quiet place, with few people around. Our room was not cheap, but was huge... More

This is a B&B in a very central Boston location. It is a mansion building with beautifully appointed and very large rooms. We were in The Wellesley, which was huge, with seating areas and a nice shower room. The breakfast is a continental style buffet, which is adequate. The lounge is available all day with free coffee and snacks (excellent... More

Arrived in Boston during the infamous "Hell week" with temperatures -6 to -12 degrees centigrade. This magnificent place spared no expense in making us, the frozen and exhausted tourists, feel right at home. The spacious room on the 4th floor was well decorated and furnished. Amenities were decent, hot water worked fine (critical in the colder seasons). Breakfast was simple... More

A very civilised and charming place to stay in central Boston. Easy access to everything and also the ability to park a car. On a business trip this was the perfect antidote to the formatted rooms of many other hotels. We will return.

We arrived at the College Club ahead of checkin time but our room was ready to go so we got given the keys. We were shown the eating area which had a coffee/hot chocolate machine and cookies at any time of the day. The room was on the top floor at the back of the building and was beautiful. It... More
