This is a beautiful historic building. There is an observatory where you can see the whole city from it. The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere. We did not try the restaurant. But there are so many good restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable and the decor very elegant. It is pricey but well worth it. More

As others have said, this hotel has a wonderful central location. It is not a fancy hotel (don't expect Four Seasons), but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. We loved the Marriott Custom House. The rooms are suites with federal period furniture and are impeccable. The staff is so accommodating.
