We have been there only for two nights, but this is a tiny lovely hostel in a good neighbourhood with very great hosts! If you want you can walk to the beach or watch the sunset at the Sunset Cliffs... Thank you, we'll come back.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel very much and would highly recommend it. All the wonderful reviews of this hostel speaks to the service received. This entails quality accomodations and helpful staff and good prices. Female dorm room (4) was spacious, nicely decoration, with high quality bedding and dark wood bunk beds. Hostel about a 20 minute walk to... More

This hostel is on my top 3 list! Super clean, spacious, new, and beautifully designed. Great fire pit in the breezeway/patio. Seems more like a nice hotel or b&b. Only complaint being that the rooms smelled musty... keep the window open and it's no big deal. Will stay here again and again when in San Diego. Awesome location just a... More

My 14-year-old daughter and I stayed in the Point Loma hostel for 4 nights in October. This is easily one of the nicest hostels I've yet to see. We would gladly return. - Area is beautiful, very close by is a full sized grocery store and some restaurants and bars. It is very quick access to SeaWorld and Mission Bay,... More

Thanks so much for your great review. We truly appreciate it. We have approached the church to see if they would rent us parking spots and unfortunately they aren't interested. If anyone has any clout with the church accross the street we would love to strike up a deal to get dedicated parking for guests. One tip for parking: if... More

My friend and I stayed at the hostel for three nights in September. Check in was easy and we were given a tour of the hostel which was nice! The ktichen area is very spacious, modern and immaculately clean - excellent! Our double room was small, but just what we needed. My only qualm was that we thought (from hostel... More

I stayed at Hi-Point Loma for 14 nights and I experienced the most friendly atmosphere among hostels. The staff were very helpful during my stay and their attitude towards guests was incredible. Fifteen minutes walk will take you to the beach. Supermarket, fast food and Library is two minutes walk. Bicycle rentals available.
