We stayed during the week when there was no ballgame or conventions. The location is great. The staff is very accommodating and the city of San Diego easy to get around. This place is awesome! They are in the heart of Gaslamp District. We were able to walk to the harbor and Little Italy, and the trolley is nearby. The rooftop bar was an awesome experience! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating, and you can even bring your pets.

First visit to Solamar. Check in went very smoothly. We were in San Diego for the 1/2 marathon, and they were nice enough to put us in a room away from the pool area, where the beat goes on late into the evening. Clean. Great location. Staff was awesome. Especially Marissa at the front desk and Josh at the pool bar. We were even sent a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Absolutely will be back. Highly recommend walking down to j wok to eat. Also... I'm not a pet lover and was very glad they have pet free floors.
