Stayed here with my husband for a week trip. We drove to LA for one day, and had driven in from las vegas and went downtown sandiego for a few days. Hotel was nice and clean, but nothing to shout about. If you want a basic hotel that will supply breakfast every morning (Which was pretty good, except for the... More

This hotel fulfilled our need to avoid traffic and public transportation congestion to go to a Chargers game at Qualcomm Stadium. We stayed on a Saturday night/Sunday night for $100.00 a night. We flew a long way to get there. The hotel is close to Qualcomm and Grantville MTS trolley station. We walked to and from the stadium with ease.... More

We stayed here on Nov 19th (Sat) as we came into town for a football game. Keep in mind this wasn't some romantic weekend kind of thing, but we just needed a place that was clean, comfortable and centrally located to Qualcomm Stadium. I was very surprised as to how clean the facility was! My room was comfortable with upgraded... More

We stayed one night 11/19/11, room was clean, renovated and bed was super comfy! Mini fridge/microwave was nice. Parking is close to your room which is a PLUS to get in and out. We booked 3 rooms for 9 nine people,so the complimentary deluxe breakfast was adequate and staff was helpful. Freeway noise did not bother us, it was some guests... More

Outside of being punched in the head, this has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Let's start with the fact I drove 9 hours and encountered heavy traffic in heavy rain starting in Orange County, then found out where this hotel was really located. From the online description the hotel being near Seaworld and the Zoo... More

This is the worst place I have stayed in San Diego. Booked a week and stayed only 4 days even though I was fully paid for 7. The staff is rude. The breakfast is a joke. Charged my card for a safe that I never used and they never informed me about. They refused to refund the safe fee when... More

First let me qualify this review....The wife and I stayed here for the discrete purpose of attending the charger (vs. 49ers) game and obviating the annoyance of the to/from stadium crowdedness. We typically opt for nightlife and nicer accommodations - one of our faves is Hotel Solamar. That said, I researched a number of hotels near qualcomm and found this... More

I greatly appreciate the time you have taken to tell us about your great stay in San Diego, and especially since we have been able to accommodate your needs efficiently, and promptly. I must assume that this was a great game, seeing as how the Chargers won and all. This extremely convenient light rail train system that will get you... More

Not somewhere I would stay again, pictures on website are not what we got. We stayed five nights, ugh, only because nothing else was available. Maid was re-using towels we had on the floor, hanging them back up like they were never used. Very small bathroom and bedroom area. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. We encountered a baseball team... More

Stayed here for padres game. Trolley right there. Large room 2 beds. Pool small but this is the type of hotel you dont plan to lounge about This motel is fine for the money. Only complaint is the busload of kids on a trip roaming around the halls but have noticed it has stopped at 11 pm. Not bad! More
