Clean, reasonably prices, very convenient to public transportation. Rooms are reasonably sized, bathrooms functional and well lit. Quiet. Good elevator service. Little desk space. No free internet, lousy continental breakfast, no bellman. Help is friendly but not very knowledgeable about the area. For the price this hotel is a great bargain.

This little hotel is clean and neat. Not fancy but friendly and convenient. There is parking 1/2 a block away, a diner across the street, coffee shops etc. We had two king rooms on the 6th floor and they were big for NYC standards and came with a mini fridge. We just spent two nights at the Chelsea and were very satisfied with our room in a corner of the 2nd floor facing both 23rd street and 7th avenue. Rated only 2 stars but really more of 2.5 or 3 star. Very simple yet comfortable and very clean. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels. Breakfast was fresh bagels and Danishes. I loved our stay in Chelsea Savoy. Nice location with a subway station literally around the corner. The rooms are clean and the reception are nice. Even the breakfast is nice considering the price you pay to stay in such a good location. I would definitely come back to this hotel.
