The rooms in this below ground level hostel are barred and if there is a fire during the night you are at real risk of not being able to get out. The shower facilities are just terrible and the kitchen is very small. OK its cheap but it is a disgrace that New York allows such a high risk place... More

I stayed for two nights in this hostel and it was a big mistake. There was a "rapper" in the dorms, (one of the staff members..) living there permanently and he played music until 4 am. There is only one toilet/bathroom for all the guests. the kitchen is ridiculously small. There are so many better places to stay in in... More

I landed myself in this hostel because it was the cheapest I could find and had free internet and some free basic food. Having said that, it is the worst hostel I had ever stayed in. It was hard to find in the first place because it is located in a sub-basement with no signage on the outside. The entrance... More

I've been there for 5 days and they charged me for 6 because Jonathan, the owner, made a mistake in my credit card (actually he was totally drunk...). He swore that he would pay me back, but it was a joking, a fairy tale. There was an overbooking and I had to sleep for those days in a air-bed and... More

[--] And don't even think about trying to amend your reservation, you'll get some half-baked numpty who'll fail to take your message. We got screwed out of a bed that way so they could cram (and cram is the word in this place) a larger booking in. It turned into a blessing since during the one (too many) night we... More

I struggled over here with my bags and after a delayed flight, was told my booking had been cancelled, but not only that apparently lots of overbookings so even had i got there earlier it was still too full. It seemed to have a nice crew of people staying there though, they were friendly and let me in to wait... More
