The lobby is deceptive and makes you think the hotel might be okay, but it's NOT. Checked into a room that had a used chapstick container and m&m's on the floor. The water was brown when we turned on the shower and would not drain. The paint was peeling off the walls in the room and in the hallways. All... More

I was given trip to Westminster Dog Show in NYC. Because the hotel is across from MSG, we thought this was the hotel to go to to view the dogs & owners. That assumption was correct however after checking in ,we immediately checked out! We were told rooms on 11th&12th floors we their best. Wow ! The rooms were so... More

This hotel has one thing going for it, it is across from Madison Square Garden. Not sure where to start with the negatives... I guess check-in: Huge line, which is understandable since we were there for the dog show. But, once we finally reached the counter our room was not available, we'd need to wait in the line again to... More

Just back from a stay at the Pennsylvania with a friend and have to say I'm dissapointed that the rooms are still in such a shabby state. I stayed at this hotel once before - 8 years ago, - and had hoped that by now the rooms would have been refurbished a bit. However it's still the same old worn-out... More

Let me start by saying that I have travelled extensively and stayed in hotels all over the world, from 3rd world to 1st world and this is by far the worst hotel I have ever ever stayed in. It exists solely because of it's location opposite Madison Square Garden. On arrival the lobby was extremely crowded with huge queues for... More

this hotel looks lovely on the outside, but it's interior is shabby and not befitting of a central new york hotel. bathroom had mould all over it and outside the rooms in the hallway, the paint was peeling off the walls. we were really disappointed given how nice it looks on the outside. you have to queue up for ages... In general, it doesn't take much to please me with a hotel, but this one was pretty bad. The lobby is really big and nice and clean, but don't be fooled. From the second you step on the elevator, there is trash everywhere on the ground. When we stepped in the room the cheap carpet was about a million years... More

I stayed in this hotel for three nights with a large party. My first experience you walk through and the lobby looked great but when you go to your rooms it's a different story the showe and bed was rotten I had to ask to move as I had stains on my bed sheets and insects in the shower I'm... More

The hotel is located near the Empire State Building and is the only positive thing. Everything else is just awful. The walls of the rooms were shabby and dirty, it was impossible to cold. Sleep was not possible because noise in the room was like on the street. Would not come back ever, that's for sure! More
