We went there in september 2011. We booked with our travel agency and when we arrived there the lady told us that this was since february a residence because Hostel fresh must be CLOSED from the governy. We first didnt believe!!! So I guess the place wasn't that good because it was an order from the governy... She told that... More

I spent two nights there and honestly don't know why I stayed. Apart from the relatively central location, was really horrible. First of all, the actual hostel Fresh was being renovated and I was sent to another hostel at the back, called Hostel Candy, which had no sign so I almost didn't find. The hallway was smelly, the room was... More

Well, after some reviews I was expecting roaches and bedbugs sprouting all around and hobos on the corridors, instead I found a very clean and safe place, simple but cozy (I needed just a clean bed and a clean bathroom) and a very good location! Of course, if you expect room service and other pleasantries like that, go to a... More

Small room, shared bathroom but clean, well heated in the middle of the winter. No bedbugs even if everybody was trying to scare me out. Well located, only 15 USD taxi from Meatpacking for parties etc.... It is a simple, rustic, inexpensive hotel if you want to spend your money elsewhere than in a room where you spend 6 hours... More

Paying $100 a night for what they titled a hotel was a joke. Firstly we asked for twin beds and got bunk beds which were not well appreciated. Other than a plastic bin there was NOTHING else in the room. The blankets given were pathetic, the lack of heating and rock hard beds meant that we could hardly move in... More

I'm not sure why the reviews are this bad for this hostel. I thought it was quite nice for the money. The location was great, the staff was friendly. They didn't lose MY reservation though.... I also stayed in a double private room, which might make the difference. I did however have to share a bathroom even with the double... More

When we arrived at this hotel, the receptionist said that their system had messed up our booking. We were 2 couples Instead of having 2 rooms with private bathrooms there was only one room and with a communal bathroom available. So we decided to find somewhere else. The receptionist wrote a letter saying that we are entitled to a refund... More
