The hotl staff is wonderfull, the food in the Concierge lounge is the best I have had at any Marriott! Tuesday nights are the best when the Chef turns himself loose and gets creative. As a previous resident on New York lower east side, this is the most perferred hotel. One main reason it is not on a main street but have access to Battery Park or the Financial district. We've stayed at this hotel on several different occasions. Always a great experience! Clean and well-appointed rooms, helpful front desk staff, and easy to get around. This is about the most average business hotel one could imagine. I did not find the staff either particularly friendly or unpleasant. The accommodations were average. The only thing that stood out was that my room was completely passed over for cleaning one day. Other than that, I can't really complain or praise. More
