I was delighted to have an unexpected upgrade to my room; this is a classy hotel with extremely helpful staff. Its location gave me the opportunity to also discover the nightlife on Amsterdam Avenue with a couple of old friends. In addition, it's a pleasant taxi ride across Central Park to one of my favorite museums, the Metropolitan.

Wonderful boutique hotel with exceptional staff that are very attentive to your every need. The rooms were spotless, very well decorated with classic furnishings. The Lucerne is a stone's throw from the Museum of Natural History and Central Park.

What a great hotel! Rooms are small but comfy...great beds and great showers! Would be perfect if hair dryers were a bit better and rooms had magnifying mirrors! But, for the price, it doesn't get much better!
