This motel is a better than average Best Western, within walking distance (3 blocks) of downtown Ventura; and tke same distance from a very clean, well kept beach. Staff idisplays good professional demeanor, is friendly and helpful. Accommodations are clean and organized. Received immediate and professional on all minor requests for assistance. Have stayed here approximately 6 times in 2013.

We were in town for a half marathon. When we checked in, they asked if we were there for the race. They let us know that they were putting out breakfast at 3am for the runners. The roon was nice and clean - I ordered the pizza and it took over an hour for delivery - Dan the Pizza Man, the pizza was delicious but seriously over an hour. I'm glad the room had a microwave because it was cold. Pam at the front desk was a pleasure when checking out - thanks Pam!

Very convenient and in walking distance of ocean, great restaurant and shopping. Would not hesitate to stay at this motel again. Both my wife and I had a great time. Stayed at numerous Best Westerns and this one ranked right up there with the others.

I admit it.....I am a hotel snob. But a hotel snob on a budget. :) I am currently staying at the Best Western Plus in Ventura. I have heard the trains, but nothing has been overly loud. I have been sleeping like a rock! The rooms are beautiful, spacious and super clean. You will not go wrong here.....great motel!

Property looked old and exterior was drab with an overly large and unattractive parking lot. Perhaps a few planter boxes and flowers would help. The room however had been recently remodeled and was bright and attractive. Good layout and nice privacy partition for bathroom and a dressing area. Plenty of plugs for all of those electronic devices.
