My husband & I decided to splurge on a mid-season trip to Mammoth since we usually go in May on a stay & ride free deal at the Mammoth Mountain Inn. This time we got a 1-bedroom condo in the Lincoln House. Of course, we pick the crappiest winter in ages to go to Mammoth, but what can you do?... More

WARNING to ALL visitors to Mammoth that stay at one of their "Mammoth Lodging Properties" (Mammoth Mountain Inn, etc), they have a "hidden" $20-$25 daily "resort fee" that is a scam. You cannot opt out of this fee, and you get nothing for it. They do this on purpose because a lot of people to carefully check. If it was... More

This is a review of our experience of trying to book this hotel from Australia. I generally prefer to deal directly with the hotel when booking, rather than going through a booking agency. I have googled everything I can think of to try to find the hotel's website and have looked at all the hotel booking sites - this hotel... More

We (2 adults and 3 children) stayed at a 2 bedroom condo at this village before Thanksgiving (was snowing on the day of arrival). The condo was on the 5th floor and not bothered by any noise. It was very spacious, clean, and well furnished and had a well equipped full kitchen. The decor, although not luxurious, but up to... More

We visited for one night, in the offseason (AUG) so the service was a bit inferior, w/ trainees handling check-in/out, and the a/c in the room not quite up to the task however this place is amazing. It must be magical in the winter time. I would revisit. More

Thank you for taking your time to comment on your recent stay with us. I am sorry to hear that you feel like you experience with our staff was inferior. We are currently working on improving our training techniques and work hard to encourage our employees to show the same level of service year-round, not just during our busy season.... More

We had a 1 night stopover - the drive was awful, we'd heavy rain which made the roads slippy when we arrived we were given rooms which were good standard - although the beds were not comfy at all - despite the 'special mattress'. The hotel was hosting Octoberfest - so the atmosphere was great- the sun shone and the... More

This hotel is set in the new village at mammoth, 1-2 miles from the strung out sprawl of mammoth lakes. The accommodation itself is split into 3 main lodging blocks all loosely based around the pool area with several shops, bars and good restaurants either on the ground floor levels of the lodging or within a stones throw. The village... More

We enjoy staying at the Village every year. The location is the best as good restaurants and the bike shuttle are at your door step. Really enjoyed the great Wi-Fi connection. All the rooms are very clean and inviting. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Now for the but..... Do not get a room that faces the interior of... More

We wanted to stay near Yosemite but didn't realise the park was so big. Don't make the mistake thinking you can pop back to Yosemite Valley, it is over a 2 hour drive. Stay and enjoy Mammoth Lakes an excellent place for those who want an out door life style. It can be as extreme or gentle as you want.... More

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay at The Village Lodge. You are exactly right, while our hotel is a great place to stay for day trips to Yosemite, we also have an abundance of natural wonders and a variety of activity options right here in town! Additionally, we do have wheelchair accessible rooms available... More

I never got to Mammoth by this time of year so I didn't know what to expect crowdwise. Well, we arrived on a Sunday and left on Tuesday, the hotel felt like empty. We were 2 couples at the (heated) pool and I was scared it would be full of families for the last days of holidays. That was great!... More
