We stayed for a long weekend in January to visit our son in the area. Got a great rate on Marriott website for $87 a night-they had a 20% off weekend rate. The location is perfect, beds comfy and the staff is friendly. The elevators on the far east side of the lobby are a little slow in the morning.... more

Stayed one night at Courtyard and found the hotel to be nice. It was clean and the rooms were large enough for a family. Some noise in the hallway at night but, not the hotel's fault. The indoor pool was small but, adequate. Whirlpool was nice. Exercise room was incredible and state of the art. We had valet parking and... more

This was a fairly simple hotel in a central location. The room, bed and bathroom were adequate, clean and tidy. If you get it at a good price there is nothing wrong with this hotel. more

Good hotel overall with some exceptions. We had been expecting a nice pool experience, but found the pool was only 3 feet deep at the deep end and very small. The work-out facility was adequate. We upgraded to an executive room, and had plenty of space to stretch out, with a separate sitting area and pull out couch perfect for... more

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend for a convention. That stated, it was well located--half a block from the Reading Terminal Market, which was fantastic for breakfast and lunch, and a few short steps from the other Marriott, which was actually attached to the convention center. The 'other Marriott' would have been a much better choice for... more

The building is GORGEOUS. I really liked this hotel. It was in a great location. The pool/hot tub was great. I used priceline and got the room for $80+ tax, and the hotel ended up being a steal for that price. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people, and I would probably pay more than what I paid... more

The hotel is housed in a preserved historic building located right in the heart of Philly's downtown area, close to the subway station. The lobby is absolutely beautiful, the staff helpful and considerate, and the rooms flawlessly neat -- we couldn't ask for more for the price that we paid, less than $100 a night. Special mention for the valet... more

Recommend to anyone. Staff is top notch! Location is awesome. Cannot get lost looking for hotel. Don't know if I should recommend highly because the next time I want to stay there, there won't be room. Change my mind, stay somewhere else. more
