Stayed here on Feb. 11th 2012. I read all the reviews about this hotel before booking. Overall our experience was awesome. We booked a waterfront/city view room on the highest floor availible. Ended up on the 19th floor and our view was beautiful. Room was spotless, bed was comfortable and service was excellent. The elevator is one of the fastest... More

This hotel is a ploy to extract money from unsuspecting out-of-towners. $12 internet, $30 parking: Those are just some of the fees that you will encounter if you stay here. You can't fight back once you're in town and have nowhere else to stay. Hotels beware. If you nickel and dime customers, you are going to get scathing reviews. Why?... More

My teen daughter and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency overnight as part of her birthday celebration in late January, and we both loved our stay. The staff was pleasant, friendly, helpful and professional; the room and bathroom were immaculately clean and nicely furnished. We ordered room service, and the food was very good. The climate control for the room... More

I stay at this hotel periodically on business. The location right on the water close to the historic area is really nice when you have some downtime. My room itself wasn't particularly impressive, but it was clean and had all the usual amenities. Every hotel staff member I encountered was friendly and professional. The fitness center was above average for... More

Charged $10 for Wi-Fi. They claim this is mentioned on their site, but of course, it is easy to miss. Any company that tries to extract hidden feees out of customers is getting the lowest possible rating. More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel in late Nov 2011 in room 1618. Our main criticisms are: 1] Although on the 16th floor of a modern building, the traffic noise was extremely intrusive; to the extent that the TV had to be turned up louder that usual and the noise kept us awake at night. 2] The room... We thought this hotel was in a great location - easy access to the highway, walking distance to most family friendly activities and restaurants. The service was good - everyone we encountered was happy and friendly. The rooms were looking a bit worn (in the bathrooms especially) and the sounds from the street and other rooms were a bit loud.... More

I think this is one of the best hotels in Philadelphia. Advantage: -generally Clean and quiet -nice staff and very helpful. -15vminutes walk to downtown. -very close to the river. Disadvantage: -there was stain on one of the towels in bathroom. -there were no tooth-brush in bathroom and I had to request it. -there were some scratch and damage in... More
