We were on a day road trip and landed in Astoria with no plans on staying the night but we did at the Astoria Dunes. Had a great stay, Rachel was amazing at the front desk! Her bubbly personality helped make our decision to stay there. There was a few small maintenance issues (loose cable back of t.v., loose towel... More

We stayed 1 night April 27, 2013. Hotel was packed. Check in was fast and easy we had 4 rooms and all close by. Only complaint was there were only 2 thin towels and bed wasn't comfortable. There were 2 thin pillows. We visitied during the Wine and Seafood festival. Would stay there again if I had to, just would... More

Not a good place… Tiny and the bed was very uncomfortable. If somebody was taking a shower in another room we could not barely hear the TV! Very cramped. It was a non-smoking room but I could smell cigarettes sometimes probably because of the ventilation system. I did not go to the breakfast myself but my husband brought me a... More

Very affordable motel with excellent customer service and an awesome indoor heated pool and spa. Restaurants within walking distance, and not too far to downtown ( we didnt have our own car). Some noise from the room next door but that was not the motels fault.

Wew were pleasantly surprised by the Astoria Dunes Motel. Unlike some others' experiences, we did not find it noisy, were welcomed by knowledgeable staff, and found a clean, nice room. It is also handily located near the exceptionally good Bridgewater Bistro. Bes

We discovered this motel when we arrived with no reservations on a busy day. They had a 'vacancy' sign, so we decided we had better stay. The room was much better than we expected. Two years later, we made a repeat visit to Astoria. Made a reservation this time. The room, like before, had a view of the Columbia River... More

I stayed here for over a week. I chose it because of its proximity to the harbor where I was working on my boat, and because it had a laundromat that I needed. I had a view room with king bed and it was very nice - large room, comfortable bed, fairly recently updated, with bar fridge and microwave. The... More

Could not believe that they allowed the hotel to accept guests while they were resurfacing the parking lot!!! We had made our reservations in advance and upon arrival that evening the hotel was full of paving equipment. The noise continued until dark and resumed promptly the next morning at daybreak. NO rest for the weary!! The breakfast area..as there was... More
