Stayed here during our anniversary trip. The bed was the most comfortable one I think I've ever slept in; you just sunk into it and were enveloped in the soft, snuggly comfort. Breakfast was quite delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. More

Wanted a beautiful place to enjoy our first Valentines together. We found it here at Rosebriar! Stayed in the 'Carriage House'. It was very beautiful & private! A place to return to, for sure! More

The Rosebriar Inn is a beautiful old home and a pleasant place to stay. The double rooms are very small, quite difficult to move about in really, and I felt that the rooms could use a good cleaning. The woman who manages the inn was nice, and her husband did the morning breakfasts. Breakfasts were very good, eggs benedict one morning,... More

We just stayed at the Rosebriar for two nights and enjoyed our stay. Some have complained about the breakfasts but we found them to be fine. You are close to town and the views of the Colombia River and the Astoria Bridge are very nice. The only thing at all negative would be they need to clean the carpets and... More

We stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon down the Oregon Coast and were rewarded with a perfect beginning to our trip. The hotel is in a great location just a few blocks above the downtown, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The view of the Columbia River and the Astoria Bridge from the lobby is a real... The Rosebriar eceeds epectations. In a beautiful location in Astoria, this B&B is not to be missed! The owners go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Complimentary wine in the living room of an evening, a gorgeous breakfast room (complimentary breakfast), pretty gardens and a great peaceful location. The Rosebriar was once a convent, and the elegant, fully... More

We found this B&B through the Rough Guide on a rainy day. Although not raved about in the forementioned guide, the service and standard of the room for the price was incredible. We stayed in room 6 which was large enough for our needs as we like cosy rooms. The new owners (two weeks running when we arrived) had made... More

This place is like a slighly faded, somewhat unkept Grand Dame. A little 'spit and polish' is definitly needed. Our room had spider webs along those glorious ceiling moldings and the furniture was dusty. Breakfast was OK but the coffee was weak and thin. We would not return. More

I was surprised to see the April 2007 review. I may sound like Goldilocks here, but we found the breakfasts healthy, tasty and proportions just right. Coffee, tea and fruit juices were fresh as well. We stayed in the aforementioned Garden Room. I will say, due to the website layout that we expected it to be a detached building, not... More

We arrived about one PM on this past rainy Sunday afternoon. We were the only guests for the evening but our rooms were not ready. That surprised us. We were told that it would be another hour or so. So we had to walk downtown in the rain to kill some time. We had reserved two rooms. Ours was the... More
