I booked this hotel through a travel agency. The hotel itself is in a good location. I lived in Savannah for a few years and I was coming back to visit. As soon as I pulled in, I was told it was valet parking only - which is fine. I told them my driver's side window was broken and to...

The hotel is on the corner of Savannah's historic district. It is in a great location for walking and Savannah's historic district is a wonderful city to walk. The rooms are very nice and the room rate is good but the $16 per day parking fee is a little steep. The breakfast buffet is also pricey considering what you get...

We stayed two nights at the Doubletree Hotel and Suites in Savannah and while we found the hotel to be comfortable, the restaurant was so bad we would never go back. Also, although it is in the historic district guests should be aware that it is at the very end of the district and only within distant viewing of the...

The location was awesome. We could walk to everything. River Street was just across the street. All the historic squares were just a few...

My wife and I stayed here over the weekend and where more then satisfied with the accommodations. The room was clean and comfortable with a 37 inch flat screen TV. The location is great. Near the Museums on MLK, across the street from City Market and couple of blocks from Congress & Broughton St shops and restaurants. It is also...

I've stayed at the Double Tree Hotel in Historic Savannah twice now, which has only reinforced my opinion that it's one of the best hotels in the area. It's located on Bay Street, just one block over from the river, making all sites very easy to walk to, but still far enough down the road to keep late night revelers...

Arrived on my annual MLK weekend trip and the valet met our cab with pleasant enthusiasm (LOL I solved my issue with the outrageous valet parking charge by flying in!)
They now have a happy hour!!! Can't wait.
Breakfast has become a delightful experience. The service was true southern hospitality by dear sweet Michelle. Love her!!!

We had three rooms....any requests, any service, and all the front desk, for three days, was a test of our patience and intelligence. These poor underpaid people went out of their way to be rude, uncaring and to put us in our place. There is an old expression that comes to mind...."pay peanuts, get monkeys". I do not blame the...
