The river's edge resort consist out of two parts 1 is the "campground" area and 2 the cabins area. We where staying in the cabins area and we enjoyed it. We had a cabin direct on the waterfront. The cabin was clean and had two big beds in it. The only disadvantage of the cabin is that is relatief dark...

I stayed at the resort September 9th to the 11th in the cabins. The resort was very clean and the cabins were like a hotel room with coffee and amenities. The one thing I appreciated was that they were quiet. Each cabin has a seperate outside seating area with table and chairs. You can walk right along the Chena River....

This was a wonderful trip. I stayed at Rivers edge resort for 3 night and it was everything I hoped it would be.... clean, cute. It had a front door and back. A cute little patio out back to watch the ducks and boats.. Lots of room to walk and roam. I truely loved this place and will come back...

First understand that there is almost no reason in the world to go to Fairbanks. The city is as appealing as a 1957 strip mall. It's all spread out with no real downtown. So staying at the River's Edge, not too far from the airport or the one serious attraction in town, the Museum of the North, makes a lot...

We thought our impression might change several weeks after our stay, but it did not. We stayed two nights in the lodge, described as “classically designed.” It’s less charming than old. The lodge is surrounded by 82 or so cottages. Our king-bedroom in the lodge was reminiscent of 1960s (or earlier) décor with dreary floral pictures, a small bath, little...

We stayed here on a recent business trip. The room was spacious enough, though dated. I felt a little like I was in my college dorm room, circa 1991. (lots of pink flowers with green accents.)
Bed was ok, pillows were not very comfortable. Room was clean. Bathroom was small, and the shower was just ok, shower head didn't have...

I spent 4 nights in cabin 170, which was closer to the main road. There's quieter cabins on the river but this wasn't really a "loud" place on any level. The bedspreads and decor date the place a bit, but the units are really quite comfortable. Patio's on the back are great for relaxing. Limited TV (13 or so channels)....

Very comfortable and clean room. Each room is an individual cottage. Desk staff was very helpful. There is a coin laundry available at the adjacent RV park which is very helpful after touring a while in Alaska. Also close to some stores and the airport.

We only stayed one night however were very impressed. Arrived on the train from Denali and were met by the hotel shuttle. The restaurant nearby was still serving at 10pm which was amazing for us Australians (especially in Brisbane where most dining places are stacking the chairs by 9pm). Sun was still high in the sky: again amazing for us!...
