When we arrived at the hotel we found the rear parking lot had a security gate to limoit access. Nice feature when it operates correctly. When we tried to drive into the lot the gate came down on the hood of my truck causing minor scratches. I exited my truck and pushed the button to have the gate raised again....

The staff is very helpful and courteous. We had a room with a city view balcony which has a good view of the mountains and the tram. Balcony was on the Parkway but is not noisy at all so you can sleep. A chef prepares your omelet the way you like it. Biscuits, gravy, waffles, etc. Wonderful breakfast AND FREE.

The Clarion Gatlinburg regrets that your experience didn't meet your expectations. Unfortunately when using a travel agency they can not guarantee room location. The hotel has always tried to accomodate all guest requests if the requests are available. When booking reservations online and/or through travel agencies the hotel always recommends calling the hotel directly to verify room type and location....
