A beautiful camp location under spreading acacia trees, with frequent wildlife visitors. We got a friendly welcome and the prices were comparable with the other community-run camps we visited in NW Namibia. Good flush toilet, warm shower, nice tap/sink area.

Very nice place run by local community. Hot water and toilets integrated with big trees. Plenty of birds around helping you to achieve... well, everything you planned. Local guides to see Himba community and desert elephants.... To us the best camping in Kaokoland...

This is one of the best camps run by the community in Namibia. Next to the Hoarusib river and with desert elephants visiting the camp from time to time. Real super campsites with good ablutions.
I have been to Puros Community Camp twice. There are no fences around and you are close to a dry riverbed where desert elephants, giraffe, monkeys, donkeys etc walk around.
