We did not stay here but popped in for afternoon tea. The location is lovely. The ambience was relaxing and enjoyable. We were given a warm welcome. We sat outside under shade and had tea and cake overlooking the lawn and gardens. Very enjoyable experience and a must do when in Nuwara Eliya.

Went to N'Eliya with friends during the April New Year Holiday... we got-together at the Pub of Grand Hotel in the evening... the atmosphere is superb with touch of old British bungalow type hotel... service is good at the Pub n the food was simply delicious.... many might think it's too expensive but indeed it's value for money for anyone...

Stayed only for 2 nights at start of tour. The hotel is quite traditional in style. The staff we encountered were all very helpful and pleasant.
