We stayed with our family of four. It is nice because it is in the middle of the park and I think that is worth it. The staff is friendly. The rooms were very basic and buildings old. We had no problems and felt it was clean.

The Far View is located in Mesa Verde which makes it awesome location .. The view is unbelievable but this isn't like other NPS locations I have stayed in. Stayed at the Far View Lodge twice - first time in Sept of 2009. Not a good stay. Our room's heater kept setting off the smoke alarm, so we had to turn off the heater. These rooms are not fancy (more like national park cabins) but you can't beat the location if you are going to Mesa Verde since they are in the park. The restaurant and lounge was very nice and the people working there were top notch.
